One Clear Account
A young nonprofit with a scattered record and a national ambition.
- The situation
A nonprofit had grown its online presence faster than it had organized it. Different sources described its programs, prices and the people it serves in different ways, and it had more than one social page under different names. Its work depends on donors, officials and partners understanding it quickly.
- The work
The engagement began in March 2026. We unwound the organization's overlapping properties so one consistent account remained, and rebuilt its website.
We also contributed a domain we owned and built on it a resource center on the issue the nonprofit exists to address: plain definitions, sourced data, and how communities make progress on it. The resource center links to the nonprofit's own site and gives the organization a voice in the national conversation, beyond its own projects.
The goals are a rich public record, support for fundraising, and a national profile.
- The observed results
In checks recorded on September 29, 2026, Google's first page for the organization's name led with its rebuilt website and a full set of sitelinks, and Google's AI Overview described the organization accurately, in the terms it uses for itself. Perplexity gave the same account: what the organization builds, who it serves, and where its first project stands.
- What comes next
The next phase is earned media: published work from the organization's leadership in outlets that exercise editorial judgment, carrying its work to readers well beyond its own projects.
- What this illustrates
For a nonprofit, the public record does fundraising work. A donor who looks it up finds one clear account, and the resource center brings in people who had never heard of the organization.
